Mike Hudson
I started playing drums in 1999 during my
junior year of high school when I was
seventeen. Influenced heavily by
"Mitch" Mitchell, Ginger Baker and
Keith Moon my first band was a
Jimi Hendrix cover band. After teaching
myself for four years and playing in
many small "garage bands" after
gaining a new found interest in
jazz and drumming legend Elvin Jones,
I started taking instructions from area
drumming great Steve Mitchell.
After just joining the Johnny Jolin Band
I recieved my biggest experience
of a lifetime was a 16 day tour of
China with a local
country band in May of 2004
